We're having a hard time keeping any sandal-type shoes on Jess's feet. Especially the ones that came with Jess's meet outfit, the Tropical Breezes outfit, the Butterfly Brocade outfit, and even Jess's PJ's. DD (7 yo) takes Jess everywhere with us, and I'm always checking to make sure she hasn't lost them. We did lose one of her sandals as soon as we got home from AGPC but we found it in the garage (it fell off between the van and the house).
I'm seriously considering using sticky velcro on the bottom of Jess's feet and inside her shoes to help keep them on. Has anyone ever done this? Do you recommend it? We didn't buy Jess as an investment so I'm not too worried about her resale value. DD is always losing things and doesn't seem to notice until way after the fact and it's not always possible to backtrack to find them. She already lost Jess's journal a few days ago in the van and we think it fell out because we can't find it anywhere.
Anyway, back to my question--should we velcro or not? Or do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks for your help!
